Thomas Merton a remembrance

On this Saturday January 31, 2015 it will be the 100th anniversary of Merton's birth.  With all his writings and his thoughtful reflections, and his inexoriable angst from being, "a man, flawed and foibled like all other men."  We should stop and remember the man who was conflicted and leaned onward toward an understanding of life between himself and his concept of the divine.
